How long does it take to build a website?
Starter sites (up to 5 pages) target 7-day delivery. Professional and Enterprise timelines are scoped per project depending on integrations, content, and review cycles. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just fill out our project questionnaire. It takes about 10 minutes and covers everything we need to know. Your business, your goals, your style preferences, and any specific features you want. If you have a logo, brand colors, or content ready to go, that helps too, but it's not required.
Can I update the site myself after it's built?
Absolutely. Every site is built on WordPress, which has a user-friendly dashboard for making updates. You can edit text, add blog posts, swap images, and more without any coding knowledge. If you'd like a guided walkthrough, we offer a custom training video as an add-on so you'll feel confident managing your site.
Do I need hosting?
Your site needs to live somewhere on the internet, and we offer managed hosting plans starting at $99/month. The big advantage of hosting with us is that we handle everything. Updates, security, backups, and performance monitoring. You can also host elsewhere if you prefer, and we'll help with the migration.
What if I already have a website I want redesigned?
That's one of the most common projects we take on. We'll build your new site on a staging server so your current site stays live the entire time. Once you approve the new design, we handle the switchover. Zero downtime, no stress.
Do you work with businesses outside of South Carolina?
Yes! While we're based in the Greenville, SC area, we work with clients all across the country. Everything is done remotely. The questionnaire, design reviews, and communication all happen online. We've built sites for businesses, churches, and organizations in multiple states.
What's included in the hosting plans?
Our Essential plan ($99/mo) covers managed WordPress hosting, SSL, daily backups (3-layer redundancy), plugin and core updates, security monitoring, and uptime alerts. Growth ($249/mo) adds 1 piece of content per month, up to 1 hour of edits, performance monitoring, a staging environment, and a quarterly review. Premium ($449/mo) is an active retainer with weekly content, up to 4 hours of edits, monthly seasonal updates, activation page flips, priority response, and direct access to me. Custom plans are quoted for unique workflows. Every plan includes a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
What happens if something breaks on my site?
If you're on one of our hosting plans, we've got you covered. We monitor your site for issues and fix them as part of your plan. If something goes sideways, we restore from our daily backups, usually within hours, not days. If you're self-hosted, we offer support on an hourly basis at $200/hour.
Do you build e-commerce stores?
Yes. We offer e-commerce as a $1,500 add-on to any build tier, which includes WooCommerce setup with up to 25 products, payment gateway integration, and everything you need to sell online. For larger stores or complex catalogs, we'll put together a Custom quote based on your needs.
How do payments work?
We require 50% upfront to begin work, with the remaining 50% due before launch. For hosting plans, billing is monthly. We accept all major payment methods. No contracts. If you ever want to cancel hosting, just give us 30 days notice and we'll help you migrate your site.
