Common questions
Questions, answered.
The things people usually want to know before we start, from timelines and pricing to hosting and ownership. Still stuck? Just ask.
Getting started
Working together.
How long does it take to build a website?
Starter sites (up to 5 pages) go live in about two weeks. Professional runs three to four weeks, and Enterprise is scoped per project depending on integrations, content, and review cycles. You will get a clear timeline before we start.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just a few details about your business, your goals, your style preferences, and any features you want. The form on our contact page takes about ten minutes. If you have a logo, brand colors, or content ready, that helps, but it is not required.
Can I update the site myself after it is built?
Absolutely. Every site is built on WordPress, with a friendly dashboard for edits. You can change text, add posts, and swap images without touching code. Want a guided walkthrough? We offer a custom training video as an add-on so you feel confident managing it.
What if I already have a website I want redesigned?
That is one of the most common projects we take on. We build your new site on a staging server so your current one stays live the whole time. Once you approve the design, we handle the switchover. Zero downtime, no stress.
Hosting & support
After you launch.
Do I need hosting?
Your site needs to live somewhere, and we offer managed hosting from $99/mo. The advantage of hosting with us is that we handle everything: updates, security, backups, and performance. You can host elsewhere if you prefer, and we will help with the migration.
What is included in the hosting plans?
Essential ($99/mo) covers managed WordPress hosting, SSL, daily backups with 3-layer redundancy, plugin and core updates, security monitoring, and uptime alerts. Growth ($249/mo) adds one content piece a month, up to 2 hours of edits, performance monitoring, a staging environment, and a quarterly review. Premium ($449/mo) is an active retainer with weekly content, up to 4 hours of edits, seasonal updates and activation flips, priority response, and direct access. Every plan includes a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and Custom plans are quoted for unique needs.
What happens if something breaks on my site?
If you are on a hosting plan, you are covered. We monitor your site and fix issues as part of the plan, and if something goes sideways we restore from daily backups, usually within hours. If you host elsewhere, we offer support on an hourly basis at $200/hour.
Scope & money
Pricing and payments.
Do you build e-commerce stores?
Yes. We add a full WooCommerce store as a $1,500 add-on to any build tier, with up to 25 products, payment gateway integration, and everything you need to sell online. For larger stores or complex catalogs, we will put together a custom quote based on your needs.
Do you work with businesses outside of South Carolina?
Yes. We are based in the Greenville, SC area but work with clients across the country. Everything is done remotely, the questionnaire, design reviews, and communication all happen online. We have built sites for businesses, churches, and organizations in multiple states.
How do payments work?
We require 50% upfront to begin and the remaining 50% before launch. Hosting is billed monthly. We accept all major payment methods, and there are no long-term contracts. If you ever want to cancel hosting, just give us 30 days notice and we will help you migrate.
Still have questions?
Ask us anything.
Tell us a little about your project and we will reply with a clear plan and a fixed price, usually within two business days.
